FRαNKIE阿法’s 有完沒完？自己選的 was the second of the two videos we shot with director Ainsley Myles, and as with the first one our role here was the camera and the visual effects rather than the production itself. The title carries its own argument, landing somewhere between asking whether any of this is ever going to end and answering that you chose it yourself, and the video was built to hold that tension rather than to resolve it into something tidier.

Our part of the work was to hand the director a set of frames strong enough to carry the performance and clean enough to take the effects work that came later, which meant lighting for contrast on the day and keeping the camera language consistent across a shoot that moved through a good number of setups. Working as a department rather than as the production means the measure of the job is whether the finished video looks like the thing the director had in mind, and on this one it does. The line that ran with the release, 擇我所愛，愛我所選, sits somewhere between a boast and a shrug, and it is a fair summary of what the video is turning over.
